described in this report, I my personal tour of St. James. I have walked the road from January to April 2006, of Konstanz in Germany to Santiago de Compostela in Spain .

The route of Konstanz after Einsiedeln on the so-called Schwabenweg in itself is already a real pilgrimage, for me it was rather a test track. I do not have French or English language skills and the season is not the best for running. In Switzerland, I could easily help me with problems, replace equipment or expand as needed.

From Einsiedeln Geneva after I went by train, because running was too dangerous in the mountains because of the weather. Often, the mountain paths were icy, usually with a thin layer of fresh snow covered, so I do not recognize as smooth icy spots could. Some crashes were the result. With a knapsack on his back, traveling alone in the mountains, the no fun. I also wanted to take any risks, because of light or change the stubbornness of Camino with a cast on foot in the bed to have.

From Geneva to Santiago-Finisterre actually about as far as I'm Muxia-then run continuously. No train, no bus, no car, no cart. Feet.

Why do I write the report? I was able to profit in advance in dreams and later preparing a lot of experience of other pilgrims, and would also bring my experience now, and therefore express my thanks. In the summer run thousands Camino, is that there are a lot of information and reports. Travel experience of a pilgrimage in the winter are not as frequent.

Have fun!
